Do not open your only save again
First copy every save directory to a dated backup outside the game folder.

Download v0.26.10 from HEXATAIL
Use the creator’s official PC, Android or Mac row rather than a third-party rollback archive.

Install separately where possible
Desktop users should extract to a new folder. Android users should back up before uninstalling if signatures conflict.

Test a copied save
Open v0.26.10 and load a duplicate. Keep the v0.26.11 backup until you confirm the state you need.

Do not merge game-data folders
Copy saves only. Mixing scripts or archives between patches can create a second source of errors.
After rollback
Check version status
Use the current board before installing another update.
Repair save paths
Find desktop and Android Ren’Py storage locations.
